I don't know if anybody has posted this before. I found out most of the background music from Conscience come from the french movie ' The Double Life of Veronique' (in french: La Double Vie de Vöronique).

Thx for the clips. One fellow fans shared these musics earlier this year or last year.

It's not unusual for tvb to use popular music. But in this particular case, the musics from "Veronique" were not very popular ones. A unique case, I guess.

It is also not recent practice of tvb to "copy" parts or main theme of western/japanese/european movies/dramas into their own production. They did it since the 70s. 甘囯亮 talked about this in a radio talk show. tvb was just being lucky that in the pre-internet days, not many audience had the access to movies/dramas from other parts of the world.
