I can't believe I can see Maggie 3 times a week!! This is crazy!!! Yesterday Maggie said she'll call me this morning to confirm about the time of the HH3 function today. I didn't switch off my mobile for the whole night, and couldn't sleep well, I was too excited......
Finally received her call at 11:33a.m.
M: Anson please?
A: Maggie?
M: Yup. Today's function it's between 12-2 p.m., but it's internal, you guys can't get in.
A: Oh.....what about the blood donation part?
M: It's from 2-5 p.m., but I won't be there.
A: So we won't be able to see you at all?
M: Maybe you guys shouldn't come.
A: Oh no, we have prepared a lot for you.
M: Maybe you can come before the function ends then?
A: So what time is that?
M: Around 1:30 p.m.
A: Before 2p.m.?
M: Yup. I'll call you again around that time.
A; Ok, bye!
Didn't chat with her, she seems busy. So I joined Polly, Lydia and Ah Be to TVB. Waited for around 30 mins at the gate.
My phone rang again at 1:52 p.m........it was Maggie!
M: You guys are here alerady? (With a super friendly voice)
A: How do you know?
M: I'm just guessing!
A: We're at the gate.
M: Okay, I'm coming out.
A: Ok, bye!
Maggie was walking towards us, with the look of Doctor Man! Oh god, I love that doctor-look so much!!! Just in love with Anson Man!!!She could recognise Phebe as soon as she saw her.
M: Ah Be!!
Phebe: Yup!
M: You dun need to go to work?
Phebe: I took half a day off!
Gave her the bunch of flowers as soon as I saw her, then the wooden portrait of her (in the costume of Doctor Man), which you can see below. She was reading what I wrote at the back, "Dearest Anson Man, From Anson Ip". I think she quite likes it. Then gave her the mango pie, I told her I'm gonna make her one yesterday. She was happy to see that and said it looked really nice. Then Polly gave her a Hello-Kitty cushion and Phebe gave her some Hello Kitty badges which she has collected for months from 7-eleven. Then I gave her a tiny Hello Kitty fan, with batteries provided by Polly, so she can use when she gets to the mainland. The weather there is too hot, we're worried she'll melt! Polly also gave her a string printed with the word "Maggie", so she can hang it on her mobile phone.
I can't help screaming "Doctor Man", since I like this role too much! I told her I like her name-tag, hahah.
M: You must really like my look today!
A: Yes Yes!! Really like Anson Man!!
Lydia: I like your look today too!
M: Me too, I like it better than yesterday's......I dun like the too-sexy look!
A: Agree!!
M: But the sexy dressing is for work, so can't help.
Then I help them take pictures with Maggie, one at a time.
Maggie then asked: What about you? Are you gonna take a pic with me?
Of course I rushed to her.
We were busy finding and giving presents to Maggie, so I didn't have time to chat with her. She was saying we have so many presents for her!!! She told Phebe she brought with her today the umbrella she gave her last time, Phebe was so glad!!
Maggie said to polly: You're an accountant?
P: How do you know?
M: I read your name card yesterday!
(Polly was so glad Maggie paid attention to her namecard)
M: Then you can help me with my bills then!!
Maggie told us not to donate blood as she won't be there. She said she needs to work. We asked her whn she'll leave, but she's not sure. She said not to wait for her, since she'll be worried and thinking about us while she works if we stay waiting for her.
Polly told Maggie her flight will be at around 10:00a.m. on Sun (since Polly needs to go to China to work). maggie is leaving HK too on Sunday at about the same time, so Polly told her she'll meet her in the airport!
Talked to her for around 15mins only, but we were all very happy. Maggie was just sooooo nice. She said she's happy to see us. And so she carries all the gifts herself and walked away.
